Yields 10 servings Prep time:15 Minutes Cook Time: 40 Minutes Ready In: 55 Minutes Ingredients: 4 heads of fresh broccoli, chopped 1 ½ cups of shredded American cheese 1 (10.75 ounce) can of condensed cream of mushroom soup 1 ½ teaspoons of salt 2 teaspoons of ground black pepper 3 tablespoons of butter 2 cups of crushed, seasoned croutons Directions: First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F, or 175 degrees C. Then Bring a pot of lightly salted water to a boil and cook the broccoli in the boiling water for about 1 minute. Then drain, and set aside. Next, In a saucepan over medium heat, mix the cheese, cream of mushroom soup, salt, and pepper together. Stir until the cheese is melted and add the broccoli, while stirring to coat.
Transfer the mixture to a 9×13 inch baking dish. In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and mix in the croutons, and sprinkle over the broccoli mixture.
